Voiceit. is a series on African American Pedagogy to promote equitable practices in early care and education.

This instructional opportunity will provide participants the opportunity to:

  • Define the core values in early care
  • Identify the problems that perpetuate stigmas, sterotypes and discriminatory practices among young children in Early Care learning environment
  • Explore solutions to ensure the promotion of safe and healthy environments African American Children can thrive in
  • Create SEL goals for staff and children that are culturally competent and void of bias and exploitation
