AT A GLANCE
At the Early Education Career Institute we are achieving more with our initiatives for child care providers and early care practitioners than ever before. We work on many exciting projects helping to improve the career experience of diverse populations. As a company we value the impact providers have in the economical flow of our nation, as they provide childcare while fostering the development and well-being of children.
We acknowledge the important role they play as essential service providers to communities across the nation.
What We Do:
Provide low cost/debt free CDA and ECE Certificate credential for qualifying learners - Over 100 of our enrollees participate in CDA Prep at $60 for 120 hours, portfolio and test prep.
ECE Apprenticeship, Certification and Credential courses all include One on One support for all students including individuals earning GED and/or with learning disabilities. We build confidence and bridge academic gaps of higher education readiness.
Entrepreneur (Business Owner) support for learners in communities with very few and/or no childcare facilities
Gather information and data to research barriers impacting childcare industry workforce barriers and present to CCRR and attempt to build collabortive community child care partnerships
We travel to meet the needs Face to Face of rural and tribal communities to provide competency courses to eliminate access of formal education barriers for communities serving America's most vulnerable children
A nutritional program where we send fruit and vegetables to childcare providers experiencing food insecurities while transitioning into the school or workforce as an effort to aid in promotion of healthy practices for child care laborers
Attend round table discussions, host Club House events and use social platforms to support policy changes that will promote better wages for childcare laborers
Provide public awareness and support board development and training on how to strengthen local partnerships.

Early Education Credential Program
At the Early Education Career Institute, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing the issues of competence and qualification. Career Readiness is by no means an easy feat, but through access and affordability we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. We provide on going credential and career competence courses. You may join in our local courses on our campus or through the use of our remote courses across the nation. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.
FITNESS AND NUTRITION EDUCATION
Wage The Difference
In 2016 it was reported by the Washington Post "half of America's childcare workers need food stamps, welfare payments or Medicaid", with very little changing today. As an effort to support recruitment and retention in ECE we recognize food insecurity and wellness can be barriers to you maintaining sustainable employment. With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. Contact us to learn more about our Farm to ECE and Fitness Programs as a commitment to this cause.
Play To Learn Fostering Play Initiative
The PlayThings project provides on-site make and take projects and mailed monthly activity boxes to Practitioners. The goal is to promote great opportunities for you as a practitioner to access quality play to learn materials. You may use these to implement practices with the children you serve. The Early Education Career Institute recognizes with access to the right resources, as a community of practitioners you become empowered by your abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill your potential as educational coaches to children you serve.
"When you begin to do things that raise the achievement of the poorest and disenfranchised students, you may not always get applause. You need to be ready for that."
