Our unique scholarship opportunity offers up to $3000 in tuition assistance, providing you with access to in-class training, on-the-job apprenticeship, valuable mentorship, and cutting-edge Real-Training Instruction (RTI). EECI Hero Scholars:

  • Gain Enrollment into US Department of Labor Apprenticeship (Must have an active RAPIDS Status)

  • Are Provided Related Training Instruction (Credential Prep Course)

  • Receive Dual Enrollment Into Courses leading to National Recognized Childcare Industry Credential

  • Are offered one attempt to assessment for National Child Development Association (CDA) Credential Exam, application and observation fee included in tuition

  • Are assigned a Local and/or Virtual Support, group classes to meet the 120 Clock hour criteria

  • Are offered Job Placement and/or employee retention leading to higher wage in industry

  • Participate in course work that bridge academic gaps to support you in enrollment into an AA or BA program in Early Childhood Education

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Qualified applicants fill out the below form to help us determine the following:

  • Where you live in Alabama

  • When you can start training

  • How you prefer to attend class (eg: day, night, online, parttime, fulltime)

 

Next Steps: (All steps must be completed)

  1. Complete the Application Form for EECI and you are all set!

  2. The final step is to wait for an enrollment letter to be issued, once received please join the orientation and submit any additional paperwork discussed.
