CDA JumpStart Support Program - Teacher Program (1)

Since September 21, 2017 the CDA JumpStart Support Program has been recognized by the CDA Counci as a program that provides an integrated course schedule of Early learning career readiness through exploration, personal discovery, and self-reflection. In every class, our live instructors emphasize the strategies and processes involved in understanding the course content and create a unique opportunity to prepare our students to live intelligent, thoughtful, and fulfilling lives in a rapidly changing society. 

Credential Course includes:

• 120 Clock hours transcript meeting CDA Criteria (with assignment completion)
• Portfolio Preparation
• Test Prep
• Field Exercise
• TIPS Early Care International Certificate with assignment completion

This course option meets online with a live instructor 12 Saturday Sessions to be determined by Cohort. (Typically every other week) It is recommended practitioners place 5 hours aside for out of class homework each week. 

Course Pace: 

This courese is built to be a comfortable option for practitioners juggling multiple responsibilities (eg. full time emploment, families, school etc).

Course Level:

Entry level for practitioners changing careers, new to early care, or who have taken a break from school

Technology level: Low to Moderate (must be able to operate the sound on your computer/tablet link, log into a program as a guest, use or have local support for a printer, scanner and email attachment)
